The Interior Design program can prepare students for entry-level positions in the interior design industry. Students will develop design concepts for interior spaces, and transform these concepts into practical, functional, and innovative environments that meet client needs. Architectural drafting, space planning, and computer-aided design are used to develop new concepts and to refine students' individual skills and talents. Building systems, regulations, and current business practices are taught to prepare students for their internships and professional careers in interior design.
Graduates should be prepared for entry-level positions such as Computer Aided Designer/CAD Specialist, Corporate Designer, Draftsman/Renderer, Facilities Manger, Furniture Designer, Hospitality/Event Designer, Kitchen and Bath Consultant, Residential Designer, Retail Designer and Showroom Consultant |
