The information technology program is designed to provide students with technical and managerial knowledge and skill levels necessary to perform at
a professional level in the field of Information Technology. Students are provided with both a theoretical and application framework in the areas
of: information systems theory, the Internet, networks and telecommunications, database management, design and management, security design and maintenance, hardware and software, and current issues in technology.
The curriculum also can provide students with grounding in business management theory and practice, in the primary areas of financial, marketing, organizational and human resource management.
The information technology program is rounded out with general education curriculum designed to provide information technology professionals with the life skills necessary to be successful in their chosen field.
